Update: Weather warnings upgraded as severe weather moves in near central Atlantic coast

It has been reported that the earlier moderate weather warnings for the central Atlantic coast have been upgraded to extreme as severe weather moves in the coastal regions in Norway. The storm has been named 'Gyda' and is anticipated to bring floods and landslides to the affected areas. The weather is expected to worsen from the afternoon of 12 January into the evening of 13 January.
